The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is:

“WANTED BY POLICE”

Borys MARCHUK (28 years old)

                                                                      

  FOR

 

– Assault

– Uttering Threats

– Choke to Render a Person Incapable or Resistance

 

                                                                                               

On June 25, 2019, the Brandon Police Service received a report of domestic abuse which had been occurring for a very long period of time. The female victim advised police that MARCHUK and her engaged into a verbal argument which escalated to the point where MARCHUK grabbed a phone charging cord and wrapped it around the victim’s neck. MARCHUK then began to choke the victim by tightening the cord rendering the victim close to unconsciousness. MARCHUK’s whereabouts is currently unknown and therefore require the publics assistance in locating him.

CRIME OF THE WEEK for February 7th, 2020

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a;

Robbery

 

On January 7th, 2020, the Brandon Police Service received a report of a robbery that had occurred at a business in the Town Centre located in the 800 block of Rosser Ave. The suspect ordered several items from the cashier and when the cashier turned around to fulfill the order, the suspect pulled out a knife and stole the tip container containing cash. The suspect then ran out of the store and out of the mall. The suspect is described as an aboriginal female, 6 feet tall, thin build, several facial tattoos, black jacket.
