“WANTED BY POLICE”

 

Serge Uwimana NDAHIRWA (35 years old )

                                                             

         FOR

 

  – Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of  Trafficking X2

 

– Possession of Proceeds of Crime

                                                                                         

On May June 15, 2019, members of the Brandon Police Service conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle in which NDAHIRWA was the operator of in the 000 Block of Princess ave. After being arrested under the Liquor Gaming and Cannabis Control Act, a search of the motor vehicle yielded 28 grams of cocaine, 43 grams of crack cocaine, $13,255 in Canadian currency and other drug trafficking paraphernalia. On the 12th of September, 2019, NDAHIRWA was required to attend court on the aforementioned charges, however he failed to appear and warrant has since been issued for his arrest.

Attempts have been made by Police to locate the suspect which have met with negative results.

CRIME OF THE WEEK for October 19, 2019

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a;

Robbery

 

On October 13, 2019, the Brandon Police Service received a report of a robbery that had occurred in the 400 block of 5th street. A taxi driver reported that while stopped at this location, 2 males on bicycles approached the cab while one male on foot got inside the passenger seat and demanded money. The driver complied and gave the suspect money to prevent himself from being harmed. After receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot in a northbound direction along the with two males on bicycles. The male on foot is described as male, in his 30’s, short brown hair, dressed in all black.
